Description
The technique Guido Giovando used to create this Murano glass turtle necklace, is called glass blowing. The Murano glass rods for this piece have been made with what is known as Millefiori; a technique that makes the glass look like flowers, hence the Italian name composed of the two words mille (one thousand) and fiori (flowers). The necklace has a black faux suede cord; a synthetic material that is similar to leather and very soft and comfortable on the skin. Faux suede feels very smooth, almost velvety and glossy.
