In addition to recycled wood, eco-friendly paints and varnishes have been used to create this key hanger, helping to conserve the environment to the fullest extent. Something that is very important to Marcos José Martínez, the artisan carver behind this piece by de Madera y Mar.
Eco or ecological paints are those that are composed of natural raw materials of vegetable or mineral origin (such as clay, silicates or lime). They are biodegradable and their composition is free of harmful substances, such as biocides or plasticizers present in conventional paints. Their environmental impact is much lower than that of synthetic products based on petroleum derivatives.
