Fish bone necklace

Guido Giovando uses the glass blowing technique to make his products, just like this necklace with a Murano glass fish bone detail. Murano glass is born on the island of Murano, near Venice, a place with a long tradition of glass craftsmanship and techniques that have been passed on from one generation to the next. To achieve its unique colours and shapes it has to be treated with delicacy and care. The necklace has a black faux suede cord; a synthetic material that is similar to leather. This material was chosen because it is very soft and comfortable on the skin. Faux suede feels very smooth, almost like greased leather and velvety.
